Walnut Butter vs Peanut Butter
Walnut butter has significantly more Omega-3 fatty acids than peanut butter. Kashmiri walnuts contain 2Γ the ALA Omega-3 of regular walnuts. While peanut butter is higher in protein, walnut butter is richer in polyphenols, Vitamin E, and heart-healthy unsaturated fats β making it the nutritionally superior choice for most people.
About Kagzi Walnuts from Kashmir
Kagzi walnuts grow in the Kashmir Valley between 1,600β2,100 metres altitude. The cold Himalayan winters increase their Omega-3 content; the altitude slows growth and concentrates flavour. The paper-thin shell (Kagzi means "thin as paper" in Urdu) allows more of the tree's energy to go into the kernel. This is why Kagzi walnuts are sweeter, less bitter, and nutritionally superior to any other walnut variety available in India.
